Okumidori Cultivar | Wazuka, Kyōto
For the purist.
Our Master's Reserve is grown on a 6th-generation family owned farm amongst the hills of Wazuka near Uji, a quiet valley in Kyōto known for producing some of the finest matcha in the world. Mountain mist. Mineral-rich soil. The last three weeks of the leaves' life spent in the shade - a slower, harder process that concentrates everything that matters.
The result is a matcha rich in L-theanine, the amino acid behind matcha's calm focus, and antioxidants in concentrations 10x higher than regular green tea and 40x higher than blueberries.
Calm energy. A clearer mind. A glow that comes from the inside out.
To prepare, sift 2g into a bowl, add 40ml of water at 70°C (no hotter), and whisk in a brisk M-motion until a fine froth forms.
Available net 30g.
